Are kids welcome?

Yes! And we’re excited to feature FREE programming by and for kids on Sunday morning. The Rompatom Ensemble will perform and we’ll screen several films by local kids created by the Beacon After School Program and Spark Media Project.

For the festival, admission is free for children 12 and under. There is plenty of green space around the theater for them to enjoy food, scenery, lawn games and fun. The Wee Play Community Project will supply Imagination Playground blocks and Compass Arts will host a craft project on Sunday from 12pm - 4pm.

Please note that none of the festival films are rated, so we do not recommend kids attend them.

What happens if it rains?

The theater is indoors, so the screenings will not be affected. We recommend wearing mud-appropriate footwear and clothing as University Settlement is very rural!

Can I buy tickets at the door? Do you accept credit cards?

Absolutely! You can buy a ticket for one film, a day or the whole weekend. We accept cash, debit and charge cards.

Is the event handicap accessible?

Yes, there is handicap parking available, we have a handicap-accessible bathroom and we have handicap seating. We are happy to honor requests for other accommodations. Please contact us for details.

Are there any discounts available for tickets?

Seniors and students get 10% off all tickets - just bring your ID. People with a NYS benefits card can get a festival pass for $10.

How do I submit a film to the festival?

You can submit your film at www.filmfreeway.com. Please click on the submissions tab at the top of the page for more information.
